Arrive to Patras from Athens Airport

By coach

The trip from Athens to Patras takes about 2,5 hours. Buses depart from  KTEL Kifissou, the central bus station in Athens. At the station prior to your departure you will have to issue a ticket. There are routes every hour. To get to KTEL Kifissou from the airport take bus X93, get off the bus at the last stop. From the center of Athens to reach KTEL Kifissou, take bus 051 and get off at the final stop. Telephone: +30 2610 623886-8, +30 210 5124910. More information available at KTEL website.

By train:

To get to Patras from the Athens Airport you can also use suburban railway directly to Kiato. It departs from the airport, every hour, at XX:44. The trip to Kiato takes 1.5 hour. From Kiato there is bus connection to Patras. Tickets are issued at the airport. For the timetable please visit Trainose website.

By car:

You can reach Patras by car follow the New National Highway.

Arrive to the University Campus from Patras

By train:

The Central Railway Station (OSE) is located in the city center. From the Central Railway Station there is the Suburban Railway (Proastiakos) that runs every one hour and connects the city with Kastelokampos area (10 min. walking from the Stavropoulos Dormitory), Rio and the University of Patras. The ticket cost is 1.40 Euros/ trip and 1 euro/ trip for students. There is also a monthly student card, which costs 10 Euros for students. With Proastiakos the passenger has the possibility to carry also his bike.
Proastiakos runs every 1 hour between 06.30 – 22.30 the route St. Andreas - Patras – Kastelokampos – Hospital – University and every 1 hour between 07.00 – 23.00 runs the route University – Hospital – Rio – Kastelokampos - Patras – St. Andreas.
From Kastelokampos Railway Station, OSE bus takes the passengers to Hospital and University and vise versa. With Proastiakos the passenger has the possibility to carry also his bike

By car:

The University is about 8 km from the city of Patras. Coming from the centre of Patras, follow Korinthou Street to its end. Then, you should follow Panepistimiou Street and after the indoor athletic stadium "Dimitrios Tofalos" you turn on the right, following the signs.

By bus:

The Number 6 bus for Rion, which leaves from the bus terminal that is located downtown, runs every ten to fifteen minutes and connects the University with the city. Since some buses go directly to the town of Rion, bypassing the campus, it is advisable to ask before boarding if the specific bus goes to Panepistimio (University).

By taxi:

There are about one thousand taxis available in the city of Patras. Many taxis work on a 24-hour basis. You can hire a taxi at a taxi stand. Taxis can also be requested by telephone using one of the following numbers 1300, 2610 346700, 2610 450000
